ALA Gives Back

One of the core components of LibLearnX is giving back. Through ALA Gives Back, we encourage you to participate in any of the four virtual volunteering activities below, based on your interests. While ALA has scheduled time on Friday, January 21 for you to take part, you are welcome to participate when your schedule allows.

On Friday, January 21, you'll find the virtual volunteering opportunities in the LibLearnX conference platform, check "Event Schedule".

Distributed Proofreaders

Distributed Proofreaders provides a web-based method to ease the conversion of Public Domain books into e-books. By dividing the workload into individual pages, many volunteers can work on a book at the same time, which significantly speeds up the creation process.
